The nasty split between Camille Grammer and Kelsey Grammer has turned into a custody battle, but the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star insists she wants to reach an agreement.
After Kelsey filed for sole custody of their children, Mason, 9, and Jude, 6, last month, Camille followed suit on June 2 also seeking primary custody.
"It's been a tough couple weeks," she tells Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.
Although she claims in Los Angeles Superior Court papers that Kelsey's filings were "done in order to create a false impression to the media and to wrongfully disparage" her, Camille hopes the two can make amends for the sake of their kids.
"I'm really trying to reach out to him and I think it's very important for us to be cordial to one another to raise our children properly," Camille said. "For me it's all about our kids and what's good for them and stability, to know that they're loved. Hopefully we'll work toward some kind of agreement on this."
