Sir Paul McCartney and wife Heather Mills are said to have called a truce in their tabloid divorce battle.
London's Daily Mail has reported that the separated couple had "buried the hatchet" after they were photographed on Friday "at a North London restaurant, talking amicably while their daughter played".
Sir Paul is said to have agreed to a £100 million ($NZ270 million) divorce deal to be settled early next year.
And he is reorted to be including Heather in his 65th birthday celebration plans - something unthinkable just weeks ago.
For her part, Mills is reported to have given assurances that she will not use her recent success on Dancing with the Stars to springboard her into a US career, taking their daughter with her.
The paper says the sudden step forward was made possible by a mood-change on McCartney's part.
It quotes him as saying last week that "There is a tunnel and there is a light and I will get there, and meantime I really enjoy my work and my family."
